Welcome Michael Nelson, a professor at Georgetown University who teaches courses and researches the future of the Internet, cyber-policy, techonlogy policy, innovation policy, and e-government. Prior to joining Georgetown, he was the Director of Internet Techonlogy and Strategy at IBM, where he managed a team helping define and implement IBM's Next Generation Internet Strategy. His team worked with universit yresearchers on NGi techonlogy, shaping standards for the NGi, and communicating IBM's NGi vision to customers, policy makers, the press, and the general public.
